PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

Steve is a founding partner and shareholder of Leverson Budke, PLLC and practices in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate Administration. If you are in need of a basic will, a revocable trust, a healthcare directive, power of attorney, or anything else necessary to protect your assets and to make sure your wishes are carried out -- both during your life and after your passing, then Steve is the one to talk to. For a decade, Steve has earned a reputation as a fair, but skilled negotiator and litigator in and out of the courtroom. He has argued cases to juries, and he has even argued successfully in front of the Minnesota Supreme Court. In addition to his time spent in the courtroom, Steve has been employed as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law (formerly William Mitchell) for over a decade. Although the adrenaline that comes from standing in front of a crowded courtroom is an experience for which he has always been grateful, Steve has always been drawn more to the academic side of the law. Estate Planning provides the greatest opportunity to put those skills and passions to good use. Outside of being a lawyer, Steve is married to his high school sweetheart, has two children, and coaches Junior Varsity Baseball as well as the local Amateur Townball team.
